Hello!

Hello! My name is Gianna! I am a second semester senior.

I decided to join the Interdisciplinary Studies program because I went abroad (to Florence, Italy) this fall semester and needed to graduate on time when I came back. I switched my major 3 times and wanted to combine all of my courses and knowledge into one major. I chose to combine my Dental Hygiene major, Social Work, Public Health & Marketing, Communications & Media Studies and Professional Communications. I consider myself passionate about all of these topics and still am unsure of what I am doing after I graduate. I believe all of these topics connect with one another. I wish to learn the Masters degree programs and job options behind Public Relations and Marketing.

During my time here at Plymouth State, taking the classes in my program have been enjoyable and worthwhile. I have met like minded faculty and students who have helped me discover my likes and passions. If I could change anything, I would like to try and pursue a law degree. I have always been interested in becoming a district attorney. I would love to redo my undergraduate education in order to learn more about myself and my interests.

I look forward to sharing my work on here and becoming more familiar with the IDS program!
